Mission: To contribute to excellence in education by promoting quality leadership in guidance and counselling by promoting high ethical standards and by providing effective and individual and professional support to members.

Profile: QASA represents student advisers in Independent schools, TAFE Institutes, State schools, University, Private Education Providers and Government Departments.

Its prime role is to foster the sharing of information (career, course, financial support, accommodation, labour market trends) of interest to students.

QASA has a long history of providing a forum for the sharing of information to benefit students with the current organisation growing out of the Joint Committee of student advisers(State, University, Commonwealth, Tafe representatives) formed in the late 1960s.
