Report to the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister from the Advocate for Access to Education

Over the first 6 months of 2011, Simon Hughes (Advocate for Access to Education) visited schools, sixth form and further education colleges and universities throughout England and in Northern Ireland to meet students, other young people, parents, teachers, advisers and many others to discuss with them the new system for financing higher education and the best ways of ensuring maximum access to all colleges and universities by all appropriately qualified students.
