On 14 March 2008 the Australian Education Senior Officials Committee (AESOC), agreed that MCEETYA would fund the refinement and roll-out of the Blueprint, based on the recommendations identified in the trial.

The same meeting agreed that this work would be taken forward by the Blueprint Advisory Committee, which is chaired by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.

Thanks to all the hard work and dedication of participants in the Blueprint Trial, the Australian Blueprint for Career Development will now move to the next stage of its evolution.  Its refinement will be heavily influenced by the experiences of trial participants and their suggestions for its improvement
